2nd Thessalonians

The beginning to our study in Paul's 2nd letter to the Church in Thessalonica with chapter one as Paul sends encouragement to the church as reports of persecution reach him in his captivity in Rome. Paul begins his letter by boasting about the Thessalonians for the growing faith in their tribulations, setting the righteousness of God on display, reassuring them that the day of judgement comes for both the persecuted and the persecutors alike. Paul ends the first chapter with a prayer for the church would be counted worthy of the calling to see Him glorified in them at His coming.
