The conclusion to our study of the first chapter in Philippians as Paul explains his present circumstances during his imprisonment in Rome and the confidence he still had in his present circumstances which stimmed from his lack of fear of death. Paul used confidence of faith as an example of how the Philippians should act in his absence, being bold in the presence of their adversaries in the name of Christ without being terrified.
