Hebrews

The continuation to our study of Hebrews chapter twelve as the writer urges us to consider the hostility that Jesus endured against Himself from those dwelling in their own sin, and never waivered. Knowing all He faced for us, we should know also that Jesus doesn't ask or require anything more from us than He has already experienced Himself, we are exhorted not to despise the chastening of the Lord or to be discouraged by the times we feel the rebuking from the Lord for it shows the love of a Father to a child of God. We are then encouraged to not look at the process of the chastening but to look on the peace of the righteous fruit yielded afterward.
