Our study of the entirety of chapter 25 in the Book of Acts and learned of Paul's trial before Festus, the governor who replaced Felix. We heard of the Jewish attempt to have Paul's trial moved back to Jerusalem in order to again attempt an ambush, and Festus' refusal, instead hearing his case himself, with King Agrippa who had recently arrived in Caesarea. We closed out the chapter by hearing of Festus' opening statement to King Agrippa, before Paul starts his defense.
