Beginning of our study in chapter 20 of the Book of Acts, learning of Paul's farewell to the Ephesian elders and his arrival in Troas where he gave a long sermon in which a young man fell from a window to his death. After reviving the youth and returning to speak until daybreak, Paul set to walk to Assos, meeting there with Luke and the others intending to continue sailing to Syria. Stopping in Miletus Paul sent for the elders of Ephesus to say a short goodbye.
