James

The beginning to our study in James chapter two as James writes about a problem that plagued the church in his time and continues to this day. James warns us not to hold the faith of Jesus with partiality, or discrimination. James uses the example of outward appearances dictating the treatment given to each person, and writes on how that partiality is directly in contrast with God's heart and is condemned in the scriptures. James then warns us against selecting obedience and picking and choosing which commandments to obey and which to dismiss.
