James

A continuation in our study of James chapter five where we heard a summary of the second coming of Jesus Christ as an intro to James' call for a patient endurance for that day, James uses the example of the humble farmer waiting for the early rains in the fall to soften the ground and the rains that come in the late spring to feed and nourish the drops for the coming harvest. James then encourages us to endure in the manner of the prophets as they spoke, in the name of the Lord, in the midst of suffering, for the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.
